Join us for storytime with Plainfield's branch of The Mom Walk Collective. Meet up near the amphitheater at Settlers' Park for a storytime followed by a 2-mile casual walk.

This storytime is intended for children ages 2 to 5 years.

For ages 2 to 5. Join us out and about in the community for a storytime at McDonald's! Listen to books, dance to songs and enjoy cookies provided by Kory Management's McDonald's.

For children of all ages. Head on down to the farm for a classic drop-in summer storytime. 

Bronkberry Farms is located at 18061 Bronk Rd, Plainfield, IL 60586.

We are hitting the road this Summer and our first stop is Bronkberry Farms. Drop in for a story, tour of the farm and a fun craft! While supplies last. 

This storytime is intended for children ages 2 to 5 years.

Bring your blankets, chairs, and dancing shoes for some family fun with award-winning musicians this summer at Settler’s Park! Registration recommended but not required.

Do you have what it takes to become a giant of tiny food? Your team will be given baskets of mystery ingredients and tasked with recreating miniature versions of classic dishes. Grades 6 to 12

Join us at Plainfield Central High School to view the night sky using the telescope in the PCHS observatory. Please bring a blanket and a flashlight. Please register each person attending. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet the dispatchers of Western Will County Communications Center (WESCOM). They are the voices who answer 9-1-1 calls to help people in emergencies. Tour the facility and get answers to the question "When should I dial 9-1-1?"   

Dust off your roller skates, rollerblades and scooters for our first-ever skating party! Meet at the amphitheater to put on your skates, then glide along the asphalt paths.

Read on the Go will be making a stop at Settlers' Park for Let's Roll, the Library roller skating party. Stop by for some fun on wheels! 

New Life for Old Bags will meet at the Township Center (15014 S. Des Plaines Steet, Plainfield) starting in March 2024 due to the upcoming Library renovations. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2025 to our new builidng!

StoryWalk® is hitting the road this summer! Stop by for a story, crafts, ice cream, and more. This program is a community partnership with the Plainfield Park District and the Plainfield Police Department.

Tour the Normantown Trails Equestrian Center (NTEC) stables after an outdoor storytime.  This program is for children ages 4 to 6 with an adult.

All ages. Dress for mess and join us outside by the Community Garden for big bubbles, little bubbles, bubbles galore. This event will take place weather permitting.
