For the very beginners who are new to English and need extra support with reading, writing, basic vocabulary and basic life skills. Level testing is required to participate.

For ages birth to 23 months with a caregiver.

This club is for students with limited English experience. Includes leveled listening, speaking, reading and writing practice. Must take a placement test and place below ESL intermediate level courses.

This kit is intended for those entering grades 6 to 12. 

These kits will contain everything you need to create an eco-friendly diy beeswax wrap that you can use over and over again instead of plastic wrap.

For ages 3 to 5 attending independently (without caregiver). 

For ages 2 to 3 with a caregiver.

For ages 2 to 3 with a caregiver.

Learn and practice English in an informal setting. Read books together, discuss current news or explore other topics. This club is open to all and presented on Zoom. You will need a computer, tablet, or phone to access Zoom.

New Life for Old Bags will meet at the Township Center (15014 S. Des Plaines Steet, Plainfield) starting in March 2024 due to the upcoming Library renovations. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2025 to our new builidng! 

Build confidence speaking English and ask questions about everyday life in the U.S. Practice conversations you would use at a school, store, doctor's appointment and with neighbors. Learn how to use the Library and the internet.

We will provide the artistic supplies and the technology and you will provide the creativity in this weekly open crafting and exploration session. 

This program is inteneded for grades 6 to 12.

Ages 6 to 11. Let your creativity show. We supply the materials and you supply the artistic touch. 

The Board of Trustees will meet for their regular monthly meeting. The public is welcome to attend.

This program is for families. It's a night to celebrate reading together as a family with stories and activities.
