This kit is intended for kindergarten to grade 5.
You'll color coffee filters with washable markers, spray them with water (markers and sprayer included) and watch as the colors 'magically' spread. Once dry, form into flowers and a butterfly. But the question is, why do the colors run when they're wet. Experiment with with this and other household items to discover whether they're soluble or insoluble.
There will be 40 kits available.
Kits will be available at the main door of the Library until 2:00 pm and at the Youth Services desk until 7:00 pm, while supplies last. Kits are first come, first served, and limited to the quantity available. There is no reserving a kit ahead of time. Once they have all been taken, we will update the Event Calendar.
