This class is for beginners who are new to English and need extra support with reading, writing, basic vocabulary, and basic life skills.

English for Beginners classes are geared toward students with limited English experience. The class includes leveled listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice. 

For all ages with a caregiver.

Intermediate level classes are for students who already use English in daily tasks but need to keep improving. The class includes leveled listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice. 

For ages birth to 23 months with a caregiver.

Kits are first-come, first-served and can be picked up at the Adult Services Desk.

Build confidence speaking English and ask questions about everyday life in the U.S. Practice conversations you would use at a school, store, doctor's appointment, and with neighbors. Learn how to use the Library and the internet.

Grades 6-12. Bring along your favorite Pokémon® plushies, games, and cards to trade.

American Sign Language teacher Leslie Ramos leads this six-session series. Build your skills in ASL from one session to the next and learn basic conversational phrases and the importance of ASL in our community.
