This class is for beginners who are new to English and need extra support with reading, writing, basic vocabulary, and basic life skills.

English for Beginners classes are geared toward students with limited English experience. The class includes leveled listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice.

Intermediate level classes are for students who already use English in daily tasks but need to keep improving. The class includes leveled listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice. 

For ages birth to 23 months with a caregiver.

Learn and practice English in an informal setting. Participants read and discuss books, news, and a variety of other current topics. Open to all.

Family program. PLEASE REGISTER EACH PERSON ATTENDING. Plainfield Dance Academy presents a reading and performance of The Plainfield Nutcracker.

Build confidence speaking English and ask questions about everyday life in the U.S. Practice conversations you would use at a school, store, doctor's appointment, and with neighbors. Learn how to use the Library and the internet.

Meet with fellow crochet and knitting enthusiasts and create beautiful items for charity. This group is open to the public and all ability levels. Participants should bring their own materials (suitable yarn and hooks or needles) to each meeting.

This program is intended for children ages 6 to 9, caregivers welcome to stay.

A book club for fans of mysteries, thrillers and adventures--both fiction and nonfiction.
