Elementary Take and Make: Straw Himmeli

This program is designed for children in grades K through 5.

“Himmeli” comes from the Swedish word for “sky.” Celebrate geometry and space by creating these awesome hanging 3D shapes. This kit comes with everything you need to try out this traditional Finnish art style.

We will start handing out kits at 10:00 am. Kits can be picked up at the Youth Services desk. Kits are first come, first served, and limited to the quantity available. There is no reserving a kit ahead of time. Once they have all been taken, we will update the Event Calendar.
