Description
In this drop in event come meet fellow crafters, compare ideas, share inspiration and swap your unused craft supplies! As a passionate crafter you may have extra supplies around that you have not been inspired by recently! Bring what you can and take what you need!
New or gently used craft supplies donations will be accepted starting Monday March 6 till Friday, March 10 during normal library hours at the Adult Services Desk. Those who make a donation will receive a ticket for early entry to the event from 6 to 7 PM. Event will be open to all from 7 to 8 PM. You can bring items to the event during the open hour but we encourage you to bring them early. You do not have to make a donation to attend to the open hour. All items are FREE! *While Supplies Last*
- Fabric must be clean and dry, please package smaller scraps into gallon or sandwich bags.
- Tools and machines should be in good working condition.
- Glues, ink pads, and markers should not be dry or crusty.
- Papers (such as scrapbook papers or books) should be clean and free of water damage. Adult coloring books that have only a couple pages colored are fine to bring.
-Smaller items should be bundled
Donation ideas: knitting needles, crochet hooks, fabric you planned to use but never did, adult coloring books, ribbons, clay, paints and brushes, canvases, embroidery thread, children's crafting kits, beads, fancy hole punches, yarn...anything sitting in your craft corner/pile/closet that hasn't been used but could be great for the right person!
*All leftover craft supplies will be donated to the Library supply or a local organization*
